The Next-Generation Operating Theatre: Integrating AI and Smart Technologies for Enhanced Surgical Operational efficiency.

The future of Operation Theatre (OT) rooms in hospitals is set to undergo a digital transformation with the adoption of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies. These advanced OTs will be equipped with AI-powered robotic systems, smart surgical tools, and real-time data analytics to improve precision, patient safety, and efficiency in surgical operations. AI will assist customized surgical strategies, predictive monitoring, and enhanced decision support, leading to fewer errors and better patient outcomes. Likewise, Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR) and Internet of Things (IoT) technologies will establish interconnected, intelligent environments that optimize resource management and streamline workflows with challenges.
